Wild Turkey Breast

    A good friend and fellow rv'er Rob, hunts with his sons. This spring he was here and went out with them Snagged a wild Turkey and brought to us  2 boneless skinless  wild Turkey breasts). Now hoe to cook them ?
    The recipe and instructions are below.

into the oven bag

tasty, moist and not gamey

Ingredients [?]
  • Add   8 ounces white wine or chicken broth
  • Add   8 ounces zesty Italian salad dressing
  • Add   creole seasoning or whatever you like
  • Add   1 wild turkey breast half
  • Add   2/3 cup olive oil
  • Add   1/2 cup butter
  • Add   lemon pepper seasoning
  • Add   1 small reynolds oven cooking bag
Instructions
Directions
  1. Mix the dressing and wine.
  2. Pour into a 1 gallon size zip-lock bag.
  3. Add the turkey breast and marinate overnight, turning at least once.
  4. Drain off the marinade & discard.
  5. Sprinkle turkey breast with the seasonings.
  6. Place in oven roasting bag.
  7. Melt the butter in the olive oil and add to the turkey breast.
  8. Place the roasting bag & turkey breast in a 9"x5" loaf pan.
  9. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
  10.  Our breast was smaller 45  minutes was 180f internal temp done perfectly. 
  11. Tasty tender not gamey and not to dry.
