The wild turkey can be dry and a bit tough but thought I would try in in our slow cooker. And it turned out amazing ! Tender juicy and so tasty, yep will sure do this again if we are lucky enough to get another Wild Turkey Breast
Ingredients:1/2 wild boneless skinless Wild Turkey Breast.
I can low sodium cream of mushroom soup
1/2 dozen fresh sliced mushrooms
A couple fresh carrots in 2 inch pieces
couple celery sticks large chunks
1/2 onion in chunks
garlic spices . salt pepper to taste
I can turkey gravy
Tablespoon or so of cornstarch and water
Directions:slow cooker on low 6-8 hours
add all ingredients
let go all day
Last hour or so turned to high
Add cornstarch mixture and stir until desired thickness
Served over potatoes, rice or noodles, steamed veggies on the side.
