Garlic, Turkey and Broccoli stir fry.

Prep time: 6 minutes
Cook time: 8 minutes
for two servings

just a few minutes and ready to serve


1 teaspoon sesame oil
leftover cooked turkey about a 1/2 lb or so in strips
1/2 cup Fat free less sodium Vegetable or chicken broth
3-4 garlic cloves minced
1 tablespoon corn starch
Salt to taste
1/2 bell red pepper cut in strips
1 cup fresh broccoli florets
sliced gresh mushrooms (optional)
1/2 can sliced water chestnuts drained
1 tablespoon less sodium soya sauce
1/2 cup or more of steamed rice.


Add broth, garlic and corn starch in a small bowl,  stir until dissolved, set aside.
Large nonstick skillet on med high heat
Teaspoon of sesame oil to the pan.
Add pepper strips, mushrooms and broccoli to pan and stir fry about 1 minute.
Add water chestnuts and stir fry about 30 seconds.
Stir the broth mixture and add to pan with turkey, soy sauce and bring to a boil about  or 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
Served with a bit of steamed rice and garnished with some sesame seeds.
did the trick and so tasty.
